Move Your Tax Accounting Firm to the Top of the Local Search Results

If you are not paying attention to your local search listings, then you should be.

The local search results are what you see when a prospect does a search (for example, Los Angeles CPA), and the map and markers are displayed within the first page of the local search results. You will notice that the results push down the organic search listings.  Meaning, the big three search engines, Google, Bing and Yahoo, are not putting more emphasis on building the local search results for clients.

We do offer a service where we set up the local search for you in our Tax Accountant SEO package.  If you are doing it yourself, you must start with setting up your local listings.

Refer to this older blog article to get started.  The process of getting validated by the search engines can take many weeks.  But once you have the local search listing live, we need to start working on your positioning in the results pages.  The more reviews you have, the better your chances of moving up higher in ranking.

This is why we have created a new Review Us Now widget that can be added to your website and/or e-mail client newsletter.  We even set up an e-mail letter that you can send out to your client base to help promote your local listings. You want to get these ready way before tax season, so now is the best time to start preparing.
