Get the Most Out of Your Tax Accounting Website with these Nine Cool Features

With over 1,000 subscribers to our websites for accountants, we often get support calls requesting features that clients already have loaded in their subscriptions. We have gathered some of the most often requested tools and some valuable features that successful practitioners are using every day.

Holiday, birthday and thank you eCards - Postage keeps going up! You may even have stopped sending cards altogether. It takes just a few clicks to create and send a personalized eCard in our system. They are available under Newsletter - Existing Messages.

Auto responder email campaigns - You can use one of our campaigns or create your own. Set up a series of emails to welcome new clients or follow up with prospects. Simply create each email and then load them, in sequence, into the auto campaigner.

Secure client messaging - Just like the secure document sharing found in the lockbox, users can send secure messages that are accessed within the client's lockbox account. This is great for missing information or client-sensitive data that can't be sent through unsecured email.

Automated tax blog - Consistent blogging is one of the best ways to get noticed by Google and the search engines. Our auto blog automatically updates with important articles and related information. Our unique platform also allows you to add your own articles within our posts. Make them specific to your audience and you will sure to see your website move up the search rankings.

Facebook follower request email template - The fastest way to get "Likes" on your Facebook fan page is to ask current clients and prospects via email. Our standard email generates 25-100 followers within the first two weeks. Our stock message can be found under Newsletter - Existing Messages.

Get reviews on Google Places, Yelp and other email templates - Google Places and the other local directories put more emphasis for results placement on your reviews. Plus, prospects who find a well-reviewed vendor are more likely to start working with you. Our Get Reviews message can be found under Newsletter à Existing Messages, and has seen 3-5 reviews within a few days.

Unlimited document size for lockbox - Unlike email, the lockbox can handle any size document. There is no limitation in size other than your own bandwidth connection. We have clients sending 100MB Quickbooks files back and forth to their clients all day long.

Create your own email - Many of our most successful practitioners email and communicate with their clients multiple times each month. Whether they are creating emails and sending links to blog posts or other important updates, they use the Create New Message feature under Email Marketing. You can create custom newsletters or choose from our library of content.

Edit your own meta titles and descriptions - Every page of the website allows users to edit their meta titles and descriptions. This is important so Google and the search engines know what you are talking about on that page. The more specific the decisions, the more focused the results for your reader. If searches land on pages that matter to readers, the more likely they become clients. Meta information can be edited by clicking Page Setup Edit and the SEO tab.
