ClientWhys Websites Product Update - March 2013
We avoid major website upgrades during tax season, but we have made some minor tweaks to help you manage your website better.
1) Information center--Categories on/off option
You now can turn off entire categories in the information center. Go to the information center under the site editor. Click on settings, then categories. You can now check the boxes to “on” or “off” and then save to publish.
2) Equator blocks and improved copy display
The equator blocks will not display the entire text block saved in the editor. You may want to even out the blocks so they look balanced. Now the entire message will appear. To edit text, go to the site editor, then home, and finally the equator block.
3) Page status—Hidden option
Some users want to hide web pages from navigation. This can now be done under the content tab when setting up a page. On the dropdown menu, click editor published but hidden.
4) Email newsletters personalized with clients' names
The email newsletter will now add clients' first names to its greeting. Making greetings more personal has been proven to provide higher readership rates.
5) Share blog articles
The share tool in the information center is now enabled, so clients can easily share your important tax and financial updates through social media and email.
