Meeting the IRS Registered Tax Preparer (RTRP) 2-Hour Ethics Requirement
- Posted on March 8, 2012
The new IRS 15-hour continuing education requirement includes a 2-hour Ethics CPE standard. Many live tax update seminars do not cover ethics, so it can be easy to forget your ethics hours. ClientWhys developed a 2-hour Ethics CPE course called Circular 230 & Preparer Regulations CPE to fill this need.
This course meets the annual enrolled agent, RTRP, and CTEC Ethics CE requirements. After completing this course, the student will be able to prepare and file returns and documents, handle administrative issues, and perform representation services in accordance with the standards and requirements included in Circular 230. Material is based on Circular 230, August 2011 version.
