Do Bing and Google use data from social media sites in determining their search results?

Many of our CPAs and Tax Accountants are hesitant in using social media to market their practices. We usually discuss the Facebook success stories and they are convinced quickly enough.  However, Bing and Google have hinted several times that they use the data from social media in their search results. Meaning, the more people talking about you and linking to your website, the better the benefit within the search results. One of our clients now has over 50 unsolicited positive reviews on their Facebook fan page alone. They are well  on their way to building a exceptional reputation!
